Group Therapy in Washington

Mind Over Matters was created from the desire to provide treatment with a holistic view and deep multicultural understanding. Our goal is to provide quality individualized therapy to people with diverse backgrounds who are in need of having providers with great sensitivity about immigration, language needs, and cultural humility.

Some group selection may be based on gender, age, culture, or language. A group may be open-ended or closed. In an open-ended group, participants come and go as they need, while in a closed group the same people participate from start to finish.

DESPITE FEELING OVERWHELMING IN THE BEGINNING, GROUP ARE OFTEN REWARDING FOR PARTICIPANTS.

In group, you can learn new skills to decrease anxiety while meeting new people, or other social skills.

You may choose to participate in only group, or you may combine individual and group sessions. Tell us about what will work better for you. If you are not sure if a group is something that would be worthwhile for you, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns so we can help you make the most informed choice.
